Hey, I'm Saoirse!
I live in Blackpool, currently work as a Community Engagement Officer and also study part-time in UCC. I am deeply passionate about representing the people of Cork City North-West.
I am a strong voice on local issues, and I work hard to make our communities a great place to live for everyone.
I have been involved in human rights campaigning and activism for about 10 years - including for marriage equality, abortion rights, housing, healthcare, and sustainable infrastructure.
I was honoured to be named in the Irish Examiner's 100 Women of 2022 list, alongside many women I admire and who have inspired me throughout the years.
I’m involved in a number of local organisations including a cycling campaign, as well as being the Co-Founder of Trans+ Pride Cork. Outside of politics and activism, I am a fan of Rugby and GAA so I can often be found watching games in Musgrave Park and Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
